My husband and I took the Newborn Care class with Namrita due to her flexibility in class dates and schedules. Namrita is very experienced and was very patient to answer all our questions and guide us through all the things we needed to know as first time parents, and shared tips from her own experiences as a mom of 2 too. Her class certainly helped both of us feel more ready and informed about what to expect when baby comes. Very grateful for Namrita and her services!Posted on Google![]()

Namrita was an invaluable guide in the final stretch of my pregnancy at 35 weeks! Her session on pain management and positioning gave me and my partner the clarity we needed. She was patient, thorough, and reassuring, breaking down each step so we could understand how to manage discomfort and prepare for labour. Her guidance was especially helpful for my partner, giving him the tools to support me effectively. Even after the session, she provided advice remotely as my baby was late and in a less-than-ideal position. I ended up having my baby naturally and unmedicated at 41 weeks and it was a powerful experience that I would not describe as painful (I was surprised myself!) Very grateful for the support, thank you Namrita!Posted on Google![]()

If you’ve ever thought
“I just want someone to explain birth in a clear, realistic way,”
you’re in the right place.
So many expecting couples tell me the same thing:
“We’re excited, but...... honestly? We’re more nervous. We don’t know what to expect. And Google is stressing us out.”
- Fearing the unknown, the pain, and wondering how you will cope
- Feeling anxiety about the birthing process
- Concerned about your partner’s involvement or uncertainty about how they can provide support
- Feeling uninformed or unprepared for the birthing process
- Terrified of feeling out of control, overwhelmed or unsupported
Birth Compass™ was created for couples like you — couples who want to feel informed without being overwhelmed, supported without being pressured, and empowered without being told there’s only one “right” way to give birth.
This workshop gives you the clarity, structure, and practical tools you’ve been wishing someone would finally break down for you — minus the fear, the jargon, or the “don’t worry, just relax” advice.
Built on years of guiding families through pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood, Birth Compass™ offers a clear framework, a supportive environment, and practical strategies rooted in the internationally recognized and respected modalities of Lamaze, Birthing From Within, and the Body Ready Method frameworks.
HOW IT WORKS
Birth Compass™ is a two-part, immersive learning journey that prepares you and your partner on every level - mind, body, and heart. Instead of a single information-heavy session, you learn in a structure that gives you clarity first, then embodiment, with time to integrate in between.
This sequencing is what makes the workshop so effective: you understand the "what" and "why" before practising the "how," and you return for Session Two feeling grounded, familiar, and ready to go deeper.
Session 1: Inner Mind Map
- Understand the key stages, signs and physiology of labor
- How to work with your nervous system for smoother labor progress
- Identify beliefs, fears, and strengths that shape your preparation and response to birth
- Partner tools that deepen connection, emotional support and advocacy
- Practical decision‑making models to navigate hospital systems, medical jargon, and interventions with confidence
- Cultivate your resilient birth mindset and self-compassion
Session 2: Body Map
- Movements, positions, and BRM-informed biomechanics that support comfort and labor progress
- Breathing, rocking, swaying, leaning, and finding your shared labor rhythm
- Hands-on comfort measures like massage, counter-pressure, and supportive touch
- Partner techniques that create effective physical and emotional support
- Practical tools to stay focused, calm, and connected as sensations grow
- Build your coping skills toolkit
What You'll Receive

FAQs
Birth Compass™ prepares you on both levels that matter — your mind and your body.
Most classes focus on either physical techniques or mindset alone. Birth Compass integrates physiology, neuroscience, embodied practice, and inner preparation so you walk into labor feeling informed, grounded, and equipped.
Hospital classes are helpful for understanding medical procedures and hospital routines.
Birth Compass™ goes further – offering a comprehensive, balanced, and unbiased approach to birth. You’ll learn physiology, coping tools, biomechanics, mindset preparation, partner support, and decision-making skills that help you navigate any birth environment with confidence.
Absolutely.
Even with an epidural, you’ll still make important decisions, rely heavily on mindset, and benefit from understanding how labor works. You’ll also learn pelvic biomechanics, positions, and comfort tools that you can safely use while in bed with an epidural.
Yes.
Birth Compass™ is designed as a two-part journey. Session 1 builds your understanding and mindset, and Session 2 develops your practical skills. Doing only one would feel incomplete, and you wouldn’t receive the full preparation the program is designed to offer.
Yes, highly recommended!
Birth is a team experience, and partners receive specific coaching, tools, and confidence-building strategies so they can support you effectively – physically, emotionally, and during decision-making. Unless there’s a strong reason, couples benefit most when attending together.
You have two options:
-
Join the next intake (Birth Compass runs once every quarter), if your due date allows.
-
Book a private session, where you get full flexibility with dates/times and a more personalized experience (subject to availability).
Anytime from Second Trimester onward.
Earlier gives you more time to practice tools, speak to your care provider, and prepare your birth plan but many couples attend even in late pregnancy and still benefit greatly.
You’ll still learn something new – guaranteed.
Birth Compass™ is immersive, reflective, and deeply embodied. Even if you’ve attended hypnobirthing or hospital classes, this workshop expands your toolbox with advanced coping skills, biomechanics, and mindset work that most other formats don’t cover.
Yes.
VBAC parents especially benefit from mindset support, coping tools, decision-making frameworks, and the biomechanics taught in this class.
Refunds are only provided if birth occurs before the workshop.
Otherwise, you may reschedule to a later intake (once per registration), subject to availability.
Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing you can move in.
After registration, you’ll receive a full email with what to bring – usually items like a yoga mat, birth ball, and everyday household objects you already have at home.
